To say that this week’s TvT war on team Apologize! was down to the last minute would be an understatement. Down 3 points for majority of Sunday night we had a last minute 109 point performance from RENEGADEREAPER- to bring us back to the #1 position where we stayed.
Feels good to be back on top again after a week of crown deductions and deranking. Team Apologize! lost NO CROWNS during the deranking penalty handouts though we did witness the rampant deranking. Our week’s score suffered a bit from it during the previous week, I’m sure.
We’re all eagerly awaiting the day when the game developers can start matching teams up into brackets that are ranked near each other on the TvT ladder. Currently, the system puts the teams into brackets based on their runs and/or score averages without factoring in their position on the TvT ladder. The end result is a team like Apologize! who puts up 2800 points being ranked at #305 at the time of this writing being ranked next to team #304 who puts up 500 points each week, max. The system needs a tweak.
We had a handful of zero scores this week from normally high scoring members but all things considered it was a job well done and a well deserved #1 pack for Apologize!
